No Constitution, No Rights to Follow
Any Country cannot sustain itself properly without a constitution and a list of rights to follow. Without these rules and laws, we cannot enforce order in a nation. We have to have laws and rights in a nation to lead us. It took fifteen years to construct the U.S. constitution and that is part of the reason why the U.S. can operate properly and live as a nation without chaos. A constitution is the laws and beliefs of a nation; it establishes certain rights for people to follow. Why is the Constitution so important to us?
Constitutional law is more important than you can imagine. If a nation does not have these laws, then there would be considered no such thing as violating or abiding a law. The constitution states the rights that you own and the rules that you follow. If it did not exist, how would you know what you should do and what not to do? In a majority of the countries in the world they have jails for people who have violated a law. What use would the cells be if there were no laws to break?
In the United States of America, our constitution demonstrates that laws and rights can be used to provide the best for their citizens. A role model constitution contains laws that are made to protect the basic rights and freedom of people and give advantages to people. Have you ever wondered why the U.S. is popular and people from so many different cultures want to immigrate to the US from all over the world? They come here, because the U.S. has laws that first are able to keep the nation in order and second, are protective and thoughtful to the citizens. The Constitution is the supreme law. It relates the government with all the citizens in the nation. To make good laws, you have to listen to the people.
There is an important quote stated by Patrick Henry: "Give me liberty or give me death!" If you are living in a free country right now, you do not know how big of a privilege that is. Freedom is so important that people would die for it. In some countries in the world, you cannot choose to do as many things as in a free country. Most countries in history were established without freedom. People had to fight for it. Abraham Lincoln never gave up to free the slaves, and he sacrificed his own life for that. Without him, many lives could have been enslaved today. Therefore, do not sit around to wait for the freedom to come. You have to make the law free! In the U.S., you can criticize an authority and will not be in any state of trouble . If you did it in another country, you could go to jail. It is an enormous privilege to be free, because many others in the world cannot claim this privilege. All Americans are proud to live in a great country, but they may not realize it.
There would be chaos without the constitution and there is no doubt about it. If there is no system of laws and rights then a nation cannot function properly. You have to focus on having laws, but how will these laws benefit on the behalf of everyone? If you are living in a country that provides freedom and beneficial rights, you should be thankful. Millions of people from the world do not get that privilege. We are all proud to live in great countries that provide us with meaningful and thoughtful laws. A nation must have one thing to maintain order. They must be able to find the kindness, thoughtfulness, and convenience in their hearts to provide the nation with the laws that will benefit everyone.
