Let’s face it. In the U.S., students do not get pressured enough. Students don’t really push themselves to the limit and try to exceed their goal. But in Asia, students are organized, well-educated, and pressured. Asian students are more competitive, they study more, and are hardworking. Should the U.S. try to replicate Asia’s teachings? Even though Asia uses these teachings, they can impact children greatly. Children will experience great amounts of pressure and many hardships and exams. Asians do learn more than Americans, but I think that the U.S. should not replicate the teachings of Asia, because it can cause students to be separated from the outside world and can prevent them from getting the required amounts of sleep.
In Asia, most students don’t sleep until eleven thirty. If we use Asia’s teachings, it will affect the health and can prevent them from getting the proper nutrients they need. absorbed in their work, students don’t get the required amount of sleep. Sleep is important for the prosperity and health of children. If students do not get enough rest, children cannot grow as tall, and cannot concentrate in school. This can lead students to get horrible grades and get more work because of punishment. Also, not getting enough sleep can affect the eyes and can cause victims to have bad eyesight. Imperfect eyesight can prevent people from doing the simplest things like looking at a board and copying down notes. Even though wearing glasses or eye contacts can help, they can feel very uncomfortable. So, with these reasons, the U.S. should not permit the use of Asia’s system of education.
If the U.S. actually started using the discipline of Asia’s system of education, students will begin to think more about education and less about the outside world. Over time, they won’t know what has happened in the world. They live in their own universe now. But, the U.S. can change that by not using Asian teachings. The U.S. has one great thing: teachers educate the basic manners and how to communicate with people. Asia forces people to become more absorbed in education, but not the basic laws of life. Without the teachings of manners and how to communicate with people, how do people make friends and help each other out? The U.S., a great country valuing formality and communication, will become a corrupt country if we use Asia’s teachings. Because of this, U.S. should not use the Asia’s system of education.
It is evident that Asia’s teachings are corrupting the United States. Education in the U.S. is perfect right now, and using Asia’s system can change the future of many Americans. Why change something that is perfectly fine, and damage the future of millions of fellow Americans? Because the cultivation of Asia can affect many people, the United States should not use Asia’s system of education.
