No Matter What, You Move on
Martin Luther King Jr.: “I will never stop to do what is right; and that’s to stop racial discrimination.”
Abraham Lincoln: “Freedom belongs to everyone, and nobody can take that away.”
John F. Kennedy: “Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty.”
Ross Perot: "Most people give up just when they're about to achieve success. They quit on the one yard line. They give up at the last minute of the game one foot from a winning touchdown."
George Washington: “Discipline is the soul of an army. It makes small numbers formidable; procures success to the weak, and esteem to all.”
Others may complain about failure. They might say things like: We’ve come a long way and we’ve failed several times; why should we waste our time again and again? But as a leader you should respond with: We can fail and fail as many times as we want to; but no matter how many times we’re hit we never let our spirit die. Maybe this chance has failed, but it never means we have to give up, we can choose to remain unbreakable through the heart and spirit.
If you ever feel that all hope is gone and you cannot go on anymore, remember that no matter what happens there is going to be a better day. A day where you will be happier, a day when you will not have to suffer, and a day when you can relax and be at peace. So next time when you or your friend is about to give up, tell yourself or them that you will succeed.
