Who was she? She used to be that carefree girl with the ebony hair - not dark enough to draw attention, but just enough. She used to love dancing around in the woods, along with the smell of moss and the twilight sun. She loved hopping around in the brilliantly clean waters of the wilderness and follow animals into the forests, as they seemed to be the only beings able to connect with and understand her. She loved to stroll through town and talk to her elder friends, friends that were able to fill her with the wise words that the young will never know anymore. Because they brought evil to that town, to the world, and left us to destruct. And now the only one who knows the words of life is her.

She remembered the look he gave her as she got dragged away, deep into the dark depths of the forest, where they kept her for these last five years - to brainwash her, to make her evil, like them. But there was always this flicker of light, like a candle that can be seem from so far away at night - the light that kept her in realization that she could not become one of them. That was the light that should have vanished long ago.
She couldn’t do this to someone who had tried so hard to save her. But now, in a world with nothing left for her, did she still want to help someone else?
It was at this moment that he looked up and stared right into her eyes with the expression that made it seem like he knew what was happening. With her ebony hair flitting around, her emerald eyes sparkling,
