The size of a college varies from college to college. A smaller college can benefit students because they can get to their classes quickly. A larger college gives more space to students, but the time a student takes to get to his/her class is longer. A large school campus and a small school campus both takes away and benefits a student. Large school campuses have space for students to participate in other school activities. While smaller campuses may not have that luxury. Similarities between the two are they both provide good education. Both colleges benefit students in many ways, and it is one’s preference to what college they go to.
The good thing about both colleges is they both provide an educational environment. A smaller campus gives its students a chance for more interaction with the teacher. The classes have less people unlike larger colleges, so interaction is easier. Larger colleges have larger classes, so it will be harder for people to contact the teacher. Large colleges might contain a larger variety of classes because there is enough space. Smaller colleges probably have less classes available, but it might have one class that everyone focuses on. Both colleges have negative things and positive things.
Large colleges are usually famous while smaller colleges are less known. Small colleges provide hands on activities because of the small number of students in one class. Large colleges are rich they have a well funded sports team, and lots of books in their libraries. Smaller colleges don’t have these things, but it can have a strong community. Everyone knows each other at a small college which creates a friendly atmosphere. This creates a sense of community unlike larger colleges. In large colleges, not everyone knows each, so the community isn’t as strong. Although small colleges have better communities; large colleges have money to fund different programs.
