There’s a candle extinguished for every Casanova dead and there were only three fortunate candles lit. The three juvenile half-brothers could conjure mishaps wherever they went. They stuck together through hardships and building flames that engulfed one another when memories of their dead families had arisen before them. Ben, Seth, and Tom were the tough and salted sympathy destroyers and occasionally robbed stores and lived life as if every day were their last aboding with no laws, rights, or obligations. They lived his life however they wanted it and unfortunately, it took them wherever bullets flew and gang fights began. Whenever a crime was spoken of, they would be incredulous of the legendary Casanovas. They were unstoppable to any, for if they desired to obtain anything, they wouldn’t stop with hundreds of bullets flying to participate in their deadly and juvenile activities. Their evidence to withhold freedom in court was always clever and plausible and could never be preposterous, because they knew the deadly consequences.
They never thought they could reach the limit and hold their heads too high to see the day where they became worthy for treason and episodes of tortures and penalties in prison, because they were the exact opposite of naive. This time the enraged townspeople were pushed too far and sank their minds through blind hatred taking the juvenile delinquents into the wilderness where they slept in another world just to wake up like startled and astonished maniacs.
Seth was startled when he awoke from a cold sweat hours from dawn when he horribly watched as mosquitos excitedly produced gruesome lumps on his back. He pandered for the pain to stop, until finally he knew what had to be done. He screamed and desperately looked for his set of candles, grabbed one desperately and lit the ground surrounding him in fire that swallowed the everlasting beautiful scenery while the grotesque mosquitos flew half alive and half-dressed by golden flames that ended their lives in an instant. Startled by the events that occurred, Seth fell into a deep and never ending trance.
The others awoke at mid-day astonished and alert. They just lay there like paralyzed fools not knowing what to do and where to start in this exotic environment. After what seemed like hours, Tom started thinking. They only had themselves and the 3 candles left as well as a paralyzed Seth that they alleged had entered a coma possibly from anaphylactic shock. His chest was rising in a steady rhythm; that meant he was breathing. Of course he would not awaken even from a series of punches from the befuddled and confused Ben. They were stranded, lost, and most of all mentally and physiologically insane and permanently scarred.
A dismal blanket covered the sky and small holes of light were the only guides in the sky world. Tom and Ben stared blankly when they heard a low growl, and their fierce and hardened eyes turned soft and fearful. A small movement whispered in the air prowling and lurking in the mist and finally a great series of leopards leaped tackling the shocked Ben while his piercing scream punctured Tom stronger than that of a puncture wound and it pierced his heart. He took his lit candle (it never burned out until his live was lost) and lit the end of a nearby dead wooden stick he scoured abruptly, lit it, and ran like an insane maniac with his deadly torch toward the commotion and battled the fearless cats in a mental battle while they drew away from Tom and sprinted toward the dark forest with Ben while they battled at an endless war. Eventually Ben gave in while pulling one of his deadly tricks of lighting a nearby tree on fire and while the deadly cats came for a death strike, the tree toppled and fell creating a scream that could be heard miles away while the leopards were killed instantly and all animals of the forest were silent for a few seconds after finally continuing their nocturnal activity.
Ben sprinted into the haze of darkness in the forest and dragged the wounded Tom out of the darkness in the bright light provided from the large flames started in the commotion with the burning torch revealing multiple gashes and scratches on Tom’s body that I monitored scrupulously. Ben mourned as he knew that this could easily result in both of his brothers’ deaths. He cried himself to sleep while the flames of the fire kept burning revealing and casting a shadow, this shadow was no animal that Mother Nature cast, it was man. The long-lived man could not support himself and his starvation had overcome him. This was no ordinary man, it was the old fellow Ben had personally robbed and hesitantly broke his strong soul to pieces. The man clutched and revealed a necklace revealing the picture of his family especially his dead mother and father. Ben shed a tear, one thing he forgot 10 years ago and the old man collapsed out of weakness and died on the spot. Ben buried his dead brother without hesitation for it was conclusive that he was dead and did it with courage and honor. Daniel was Ben’s counterpart and mate in robberies and activities, it pained him to see Daniel venture father and father away from him until his tragic death.
Ben hid his head in his arms hiding his tears as they poured incredibly and in massive armies. He heard something a small calling of his name. It was Seth who had awoken amazingly and miraculously from his coma. He understood Ben for in his sleep he revealed that he realized how many he had wronged and he never meant to hurt anybody, he just wanted to understand their complicated brotherly relationship. They were insane and realized the alcohol and juvenile activity had enthralled them and postponed their inevitable realization and action. Ben and Seth both stared into the glowing flames that built up in the fire. “Tom is down there,” Ben blankly concluded. “Father and Mother are too,” Seth added. They both jumped into the blazing bonfire. All that was left were the religious candles that were no longer lit in flames.
